WHAT DO YOU DO?

Every attempt is freeform. The AI narrates what happens within the roll's outcome -- it never decides whether you succeed.

Resolution rules

1: critical failure. 2–6: failure, +1 pressure. 7–11: increasing success. 12: critical success, −1 pressure. Story progression only advances on turns that genuinely move the story forward. Pressure is a persistent narrative cost in this prototype, not a roll modifier.

PLAYER SETTINGS

Your connection to the world

Saved only to your player account. Credentials are encrypted on this server and never returned to the browser.

Narration provider

Failure never triggers a provider switch. Switching to a cloud provider sends world context there and may incur charges.

Fallback order

Preference order for switching providers if one becomes unavailable -- approval is still required for every switch.

    Ollama

    The Python server connects to this address. For a remote host, use its Tailscale address or HTTPS proxy. Narration and extraction can use different models.
